1. Overview

We collect information to operate the website and resources library, provide accounts, understand which resources people use, and maintain site performance.

You can browse the public resources catalog without an account. If you create an account, we collect account and profile information directly. Payments, scheduling, newsletters, and some forms are still handled by third-party services when you choose to use them.

One exception is the voice assistant embedded on parts of this site. If you choose to start a conversation with it, that conversation is handled by ElevenLabs without you leaving our site. Section 5 explains how it works.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect or receive the following categories of information:

• Account identity information, including your email address and the identifiers needed to keep you signed in.
• Required profile information you submit: first name, last name, company or organization, and your role.
• Your optional choice about whether to receive AI Between Worlds articles and resource updates.
• Resource usage information, including which resources you add to My Resources, related campaign or referral information, and supported activity events reported by connected resources. We do not put policy text, workflow content, credentials, or saved resource inputs into this usage data.
• Basic usage information such as pages viewed, referral sources, browser type, device type, and general location derived from IP address.
• Technical data used to operate and protect the site, such as performance and diagnostic information.
• Information you choose to provide directly to third-party services linked from our site, such as contact details, intake responses, scheduling information, newsletter signups, or payment details.
• Voice audio and the content of your conversation, but only if you choose to start a conversation with the embedded voice assistant and grant your browser's microphone permission. The assistant does not listen, record, or transmit anything before you start a conversation, and you can end it or revoke microphone access at any time.

Apart from voice conversations you choose to start, we do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the website or resources library.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Understand how visitors use the website.
• Maintain, secure, and improve site performance and content.
• Evaluate what information and services are most useful to visitors.
• Create and maintain your resources account, profile, preferences, and access to resources.
• Record which resources are useful and improve the resources library.
• Support business operations when you choose to engage with linked third-party tools.
• Answer questions and understand what visitors ask, where you have chosen to use the voice assistant.

We do not sell personal information collected through this site, and we do not sell or share voice recordings or conversation content. We do not directly process customer payments on the site at this time.

4. Analytics and Cookies

We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand site traffic, page usage, and overall performance.

These tools may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about your interaction with the site. The information collected may include IP-based location estimates, browser details, pages visited, time spent on pages, and referral information.

You can limit cookies through your browser settings. Some analytics features may not work as intended if cookies are disabled.

5. Third-Party Links and Services

Clerk provides account authentication and sign-in services. Supabase stores resources profiles, preferences, access records, and product usage data, and also supports blog and content delivery. Our site includes outbound links to third-party services, including Tally, Jotform, Substack, TidyCal, Stripe, Skool, and LinkedIn.

If you click one of those links, you will be subject to that third party's privacy policy, terms, and practices. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third-party sites or services.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you use.

Separately from those outbound links, parts of this site embed a voice assistant provided by ElevenLabs. Unlike the services above, it runs on our pages rather than sending you elsewhere. It is inactive until you start a conversation. Once you do, your microphone audio and the content of that conversation are sent to ElevenLabs, which processes them to run the assistant and may retain them under its own policy. We do not use the assistant on our privacy policy or blog pages.

If you would rather not use it, do not start a conversation, or decline the microphone permission your browser asks for. Nothing is captured unless you do both. You can review the ElevenLabs privacy policy for details on how they handle voice data.

6. Payment Processing

AI Between Worlds does not currently process payments directly on this website through an embedded checkout.

If you make a payment, it is handled through a third-party provider such as Stripe or another linked service. Payment information is collected and processed by that provider, not directly by this site.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for analytics, site operations, security, recordkeeping, or legal compliance.

You can delete your account from the Account page. The deletion process removes your resources profile, preferences, access records, and linked usage events from our platform. A limited deletion request record may remain so failed cleanup can be identified and completed. Information submitted to other third-party services is governed by those providers' own retention practices.

8. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights related to access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information.

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings and choose whether to use third-party services linked from our site.

You can update your resources profile and marketing preference from the Account page, or delete your account there.

If you have a privacy request, contact us and we will review it in light of the information we actually control.

9. Children's Privacy

This site is intended for adults and professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this site.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through a service connected to this site, please contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate steps.

10. International Visitors

If you access this site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

By using the site and choosing to engage with linked third-party services, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your own.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the site, our practices, or legal requirements.

When we make updates, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
